Waterloo Capital has launched Everstead, a private wealth and family office brand serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. The unit is based in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood and is headed by Grayson Miller Dunaway as founder and managing partner.
Dunaway will also assist with Waterloo’s commercial expansion in the Atlanta area. The Everstead structure combines three business components: Waterloo Family Office, Waterloo Tax Partners, and Waterloo Capital’s investment and wealth management platform.
This arrangement allows client mandates to be administered by a unified group overseeing the entire balance sheet. Everstead provides services in four areas: family office coordination, tax strategy, capital allocations, and life-stage financial planning.
Dunaway has nearly 15 years of experience in private wealth management, including tenure as a managing director at Oxford Financial Group, which manages over $30 billion in assets. She has also held positions at Goldman Sachs and UBS.
Dunaway stated that over the course of her career, she has seen a wide range of business models, offerings, and cultures, leading to a key observation: client needs are continuously evolving, and the industry is struggling to keep pace. This leaves a gap in the marketplace that Everstead is fully invigorated to take on, presenting an opportunity to redefine what private wealth management and family office services should look like.
